Arlington, TX – Gunfire rang out at a gas station late Saturday night, April 26, 2025, leaving two young men dead.

As reported by NBCDFW.com, “Arlington police were called to a reported shooting near a [gas station] in the 5600 block of South Cooper Street around 10:06 p.m. Saturday night. When they arrived, police found a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man with gunshot wounds lying unresponsive in the parking lot. Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.”

Fox4News.com is reporting, “[t]he 20-year-old has been identified as Omed Abdal, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. The medical examiner reports Abdal died in the hospital emergency room.”

According to Star-Telegram.com, “[o]fficers also found another 19-year-old man who was shot in the foot. He was taken to a hospital and has since been treated and released.”
