Update: Fox5Vegas.com has identified the cause of death for the victims in a deadly December 27 Accident. According to the report, “Donna Martinez, 48…died of thermal and blunt-force injuries, and the coroner ruled her death an accident…Amanda Y. Martinez, 29, died of blunt-force trauma caused by the accident.”
A motor vehicle accident involving seven vehicles Thursday evening, December 26, 2019, left four people dead and two others injured.
As reported by ReviewJournal.com, “[o]fficers were called to Durango Drive and Desert Inn Road just before 5:30 p.m. after police said a driver sped through a red light and hit another moving car.”
According to the report, “[f]our people were killed and two were critically burned…[s]even cars were damaged in total.”
Fox5Vegas.com is reporting, “a speeding car hit another from behind, forcing it into the intersection. Three cars that were pushed together burst into flames. The driver of the speeding car died…[t]hree people in the car they hit died, including a child. Bystanders rescued two other people involved in the crash, including another child.”
The investigation is ongoing.
