Gunfire rang out at a Concord, CA strip mall Tuesday morning, March 21, 2023, leaving one man dead and one other man injured.
As reported by KRON4.com, “at a Concord strip mall on Tuesday…at approximately 9:48 a.m., [officers] received a call regarding gunshots heard in the area of Solano Way and Broadmoor Avenue.”
According to the report, “[w]hen officers arrived on the scene, they located two people suffering from gunshot wounds. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other was transported to the hospital.”
SFgate.com is reporting, “Eric Cavazos, 21, of Concord, died in the shooting. Cavazos and his stepfather were shot by two people just before 9:50 a.m….Cavazos was pronounced dead at the scene, while his stepfather was taken to a hospital.”
