A motor vehicle accident involving a bus sadly claimed the life of a pedestrian Wednesday night, January 22, 2020.

As reported by Fox5Vegas.com, “the crash happened around 11:45 p.m. at East Bonneville Avenue and South Main Street.”

According to the report, “an RTC bus was traveling south on Main turning eastbound onto Bonneville when the left-front of the bus hit 75-year-old Gloria Jean Jackson…the woman was crossing Bonneville in a marked crosswalk.”

8NewsNow.com is reporting, “[the victim] was transported to University Medical Center” where she was tragically unable to recover from her injuries.”

The accident investigation is ongoing.
