An accident involving a motor vehicle and a motorcycle Thursday morning, January 9, 2020 caused the death of the woman motorcyclist.
As reported by News3LV.com, “[t]he crash was reported on Decatur Boulevard and Diablo Drive, just north of Russell Road, around 8:10 a.m.”
Fox5Vegas.com is reporting, “a 1999 Mazda B3000 pickup truck was turning from eastbound Diablo to northbound Decatur while a 2018 Harley Davidson FXLR motorcycle was traveling southbound on Decatur at Diablo in the far left lane.”
According to the report, “the Mazda failed to yield right-of-way at the stop sign, resulting in the crash. The Harley rider, identified by police as a woman in her 20s, died at the scene.”
The investigation is ongoing.
