Rapid City, SD – Gunfire rang out at an apartment complex Wednesday evening, August 27, 2025, leaving one man dead.

As reported by KOTAtv.com, “[a] man was shot and killed around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex in the 200 block of East Watertown Street, Rapid City.”

According to the report, “[p]olice say they attempted emergency first aid but the man died at the scene.”
