Gunfire erupted early Friday morning, January 8, 2021 at a Miami, FL convenience store leaving one person killed and two others injured.

As reported by Miami.CBSlocal.com, “Miami-Dade police said around 12:30 a.m. they received a ShotSpotter alert about gunfire in the area of NW 18th Avenue and NW 66th Street.”

MiamiHerald.com is reporting, “[w]hen officers arrived, they found two shot men. One of them died before fire-rescue arrived…[t]he other man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center.”

According to the report, “[a] short while later, officers…were notified that someone had driven to North Shore Hospital with a gunshot wound and was transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition. Investigators believe that person was also involved in the shooting.”

According to the report, “Adam Whited, 42, died at Miami Valley Hospital following the shooting.”

Gunfire erupted Saturday afternoon, December 12, 2020 at a Memphis, TN gas station leaving one person dead, one other injured.

As reported by LocalMemphis.com, “the shooting happened at approximately 2:00 p.m. at the Exxon gas station in the 2800 block of Airways on Saturday afternoon.”

According to the report, “[o]fficers found two victims suffering with gunshots wounds. One victim was pronounced on the scene. The second victim was taken to Regional One in critical condition.”

As reported by WESH.com, “[a]round 8:50 p.m., officials said a call came in about a shooting at the T & N Market, located at 1345 North Grandview St.”

Gunfire erupted Thursday night, September 10, 2020 at a gas station in St. Louis, MO.

As reported by KSDK.com, “[t]he shooting happened on Sept. 10 around 10:40 p.m. in the parking lot of [a] gas station at 12188 Bellefontaine Road.”

According to the report, “two people were shot – a 25-year-old man and a 41-year-old man. Both victims were taken to hospitals with what police believed to be non-life-threatening injuries at the time.”

KSDK is reporting, “the 25-year-old, who has been identified as Sterling Beasley of St. Louis city, was readmitted to a hospital on Nov. 5 due to complications from the gunshot wound to his hip. On Nov. 11, Beasley died due to his injuries.

The shooting remains under investigation.

Gunfire erupted early Friday morning, September 18, 2020 at a Charlotte, NC gas station leaving one person injured.

As reported by WBTV.com, “[t]he shooting happened at a Citgo on E Woodlawn Road near Old Pineville Road.”

According to the report, “Medic says they took one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.”

Gunfire erupted early Tuesday morning, August 1, 2020 at a Cleveland, OH gas station leaving one person dead, one other injured.

As reported by WKYC.com, “[o]fficials responded to [a] gas station located at 4030 East 131st Street for reports of a woman shot around 4:30 a.m….The victim, identified as a 48-year-old woman, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.”

According to the report, “[a] 26-year-old woman, caught in the crossfire, was shot in the back and arm. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.”

The shooting investigation is ongoing.
