A motor vehicle accident injured a pedestrian Tuesday afternoon, March 10, 2020.

As reported by News3LV.com, “[t]he crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. and involved a Republic Services garbage truck and a white male adult pedestrian…on eastbound Summerlin Parkway near Rampart Boulevard.”

Fox5Vegas.com is reporting, “[t]he man was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.”

The investigation is ongoing.

A motor vehicle accident involving a bus and a tractor-trailer left two people dead and multiple others injured Saturday morning, August 24, 2019.

As reported by ElkoDaily.com, “[a] truck hauling ore struck a bus carrying [mining company]…employees north of Carlin, causing two fatalities and multiple injuries.”

The collision happened shortly after 6 a.m. on State Route 766 about six miles north of Carlin.

14 passengers on the bus were cared for at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital and six were sent for treatment to Reno and Salt Lake City.

According to the report, one passenger on the bus, “Rocky Witt,…was fatally injured in the accident.”

The driver of the tractor-trailer was also fatally injured in the accident.

The investigation is ongoing.

Update: According to the ReviewJournal.com, the man killed in a crash Thursday at the entrance to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been identified as “Kenneth Ham, 57, of Pine City, New York.”

An accident involving an SUV and a semi-truck Thursday afternoon, July 25, 2019, caused the death of one person.

As reported by ReviewJournal.com, “The crash was reported about 1 p.m. [near] the main entrance to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway…at Las Vegas Boulevard North and Checkered Flag Lane.”

KTNV.com is reporting, “a DHL truck was pulling out from a driveway on the I-15 and did not have the right of way. It pulled in front of a semi-truck that swerved to avoid the DHL truck.” The semi-truck swerved into oncoming traffic, “where the semi-truck hit the SUV head-on,” according to the report.

One death was reported but the identity was not immediately available, per the media reports.

The investigation is ongoing.
