Gunfire erupted outside Frankie’s Pizza and Alessio’s Lounge Saturday morning, June 17, 2017, reportedly claiming the life of 37-year-old Shamar Rashad Wilson.

According to The Charlotte Observer, the fatal shooting occurred “in the parking lot” outside “Frankie’s Pizza and Alessio’s Lounge at 1383 North Center St around 2 a.m.” Mr. Wilson was transported to Frye Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to fatal injuries.  The Hickory Record reports, Mr. Wilson “had been a patron of Alessio’s Lounge prior to the shooting” and there is “no known connection…between the victim and suspect.”

According to WREG News, the gunman “started shooting at people after being turned away” from “a party” at the “East Street Apartments.” Three victims, ages 18, 20 and 24, were discovered with gunshot wounds at the scene. A fourth victim was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle. Their current conditions have not been released.

A shooting outside the Arium Resort apartment complex in Pembroke Pines reportedly left three 19-year-olds injured Sunday night, June 11, 2017.

According to The Miami Herald, the three young victims “were shot while leaving a party…at the Arium Resort in Pembroke Pines.” The three victims were apparently transported to the hospital with injuries, one in critical condition.

7 News reports, police are still searching for “four or five suspects” who opened fire from “a mid-sized white sedan” as the “victims left a pool party.”

According to The Las Vegas Review-Journal, “[Mr.] Nichols was shot about 5:30 a.m. while in the parking lot of a business complex on the 1800 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North.” Mr. Nichols had apparently just exited a nightclub when he was fatally struck by gunfire, per Las Vegas Sun reports. Police have not yet identified a suspect or motive.
