One man is dead after a shooting at an Abbeville, LA apartment complex Monday night, Sept 25, 2023.
As reported by TheAdvocate.com, “Abbeville police officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire at [an apartment complex] at 1610 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive around 9:10 p.m.”
According to the report, “[o]fficers were told by Vermilion 911 dispatchers that a caller had reported a shooting victim was lying in a field near the complex.”
KLFY.com is reporting, “[o]fficers followed a blood trail that went into the pasture on the south side and located the victim. Roderick Guidry, 22 of Abbeville was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The investigation is ongoing.
