Shreveport, LA – Gunfire rang out at an apartment complex Wednesday morning, July 29, 2026, leaving one man injured.

As reported by KTBS.com, “[t]he Shreveport Police Department is investigating a shooting Wednesday morning at 6000 Buncombe Road in Shreveport. Police say a 24-year-old man was shot while sitting in his car under the carport outside his apartment in the city’s Fox Crossing neighborhood.”

According to the report, “[t]he shooter reportedly drove up to the vehicle and fired 3 shots into the victim’s vehicle, striking him in the right thigh. The victim later arrived at Ochsner LSU in a private vehicle. He’s being treated with non-life threatening injuries.”
