A shooting outside a Burnsville Dollar Tree reportedly claimed the life of 69-year-old Donald Joseph Hortsch and left another man injured Monday, November 7, 2016.

According to Inforum News, the shooting occurred “at a Burnsville Dollar Tree…about 12:15 p.m.” Gunfire apparently erupted following “an earlier dispute” between the assailant and a patron in his 20s. Mr. Hortsch, an innocent bystander, was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he later succumbed to fatal injuries. The other victim of the shooting “is expected to survive.”

Police have allegedly since made an arrest in the fatal shooting.
