Las Vegas, NV –A motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles early Tuesday morning, May 27, 2025, tragically claimed the life of a man.

As reported by News3LV.com, “[t]he collision happened around 2:34 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at the intersection of Lake Mead and Jones boulevards.”

8NewsNow.com is reporting, “[a vehicle] was traveling east on West Lake Mead Boulevard when he collided with a 2013 Ford Fiesta, which was heading south on North Jones Boulevard. The driver of the Fiesta, identified as Gary Pino, 74, was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. On Monday, June 2, the coroner’s office told police he was [sadly unable to survive his injuries].”

According to the report, “[the other driver] showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI-related offenses.”

The investigation is ongoing.
