Gunfire rang out at a Houston, TX nightclub parking lot early Friday morning, January 8, 2022, leaving one man dead and three other people injured.

As reported by Click2Houston.com, “[the shooting] happened at [a nightclub] located in the 7100 block of Clarewood Drive near the Southwest Freeway on the morning of Jan. 8.”

According to the report, “a fight broke out inside the nightclub, at which time, the DJ stopped playing music and several people were escorted out of the building. That is when [the suspect] began firing with a gun using a Glock key, which converts a semi-automatic to a fully-automatic handgun.”

Fox26Houston.com is reporting, “[the suspect] is accused of killing Lenis Zelaya. The 29-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. An 18-year-old female and two male victims, both 41 years of age, were transported to area hospitals in stable conditions.”

The suspect has been identified but no arrest has been made.

The shooting remains under investigation.

Gunfire rang out at a Houston, Texas nightclub early Sunday morning, August 8, 2021, leaving one man dead and five other person injured.

As reported by Click2Houston.com, “[a]t approximately 2 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a club located in the 2500 block of FM 1960 in reference to reports of a shooting. When units arrived on scene, they located multiple people suffering gunshot wounds.”

KHOU.com is reporting, “one man died at the scene and another man was taken to the Memorial Hermann Hospital by Life Flight with a gunshot wound to the head. He was last reported to be in critical condition but is expected to survive.”

Per the report, “four remaining victims were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.”

Police found multiple guns inside the club and believe the shooting stemmed from a fight that began inside the club.

The shooting remains under investigation.

Gunfire rang out outside a Houston, TX nightclub early Sunday morning, October 11, 2020, leaving three people injured.

As reported by ABC13.com, “[the shooting] happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Federal Road in the parking lot of the Koko Bongo Club.”

According to the report,  “[a] fight began inside the establishment and continued in the parking lot when someone began shooting.”

KHOU.com is reporting, “a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg and a 19-year-old woman was suffered a gunshot wound to the face and wrist. There was also a 26-year-old man who endured multiple gunshot wounds to his arms and legs…All three were taken to nearby hospitals.”
