Gunfire rang out in a parking lot adjacent to a Colorado Springs, Colorado nightclub early Saturday morning, August 3, 2019, leaving one woman dead and two men injured.
According to DenverPost.com, “[p]olice responded about 2 a.m. to reports of a shooting at The Social nightclub in the 3500 block of North Academy Boulevard.” The shooting, however, apparently took place in a parking lot adjacent to the club.
When officers arrived they located an adult female and adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
KKTV.com is reporting that the victims were taken to a local hospital where “[t]he woman passed away from her injuries, and the man remains in critical condition.”
A second man was shot and also treated at a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
