According to The Antioch Patch, gunfire erupted outside the “Cantina Las Nenas Bar & Billiards on Apache Trail in South Nashville around 1:30 a.m.”

WKRN reports, the teenage victim suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and the 22-year-old victim suffered “critical” injuries. Their current conditions have not been released.

20-year-old Tyja Gray and 28-year-old Courtland VaShawn Wilburn were reportedly shot and injured at the Dab Lounge nightclub Sunday morning, April 30, 2017.

According to WRAL News, gunfire erupted at “Dab Lounge,” around 1:15 a.m. Initial media reports indicate “security inside the nightclub was trying to break up a disturbance when the shooting started.” Tyja Gray and Courtland Wilburn were transported to the hospital with injuries.

It is unclear whether weapon screenings were in place at the time of the shooting. The Fayetteville Observer reports, “police are investigating the establishment, as well as the shooting because of the fact that another person was shot near the nightclub in December.”

According to KPRC 2 News, gunfire erupted shortly after 11:30 a.m. at “the Mar Del Sol Apartments in the 9300 block of Woodfair Drive.” The male victim was apparently “shot in the parking lot,” per KHOU reports. Tragically, he succumbed to fatal injuries.

The apartment complex was apparently the subject of a prior shooting investigation in February 2016 and an arson investigation in February 2014, per ABC 13 and KPRC 2 reports.

According to WBTW 13, the shooting occurred during a robbery “in the parking lot of Grenada Terrace apartments on Fayetteville Road.”

Two men apparently opened fire on Mr. Williams during the course of the robbery. He was transported to Southeastern Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg, per The Fayetteville Observer reports.

According to NBC DFW 5, the shooting occurred “in the 12600 block of Northwest Highway at 2:16 a.m.” The Dallas Morning News reports, the victim was “in his motel room at the Executive Inn when someone he knew fired a handgun through the window, striking him on the right side of the chest.” The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries.

The motel was apparently the subject of a prior criminal investigation in January 2017. The Dallas Morning News reports, suspects in that incident “are alleged to have bribed two motel employees to keep them from calling police after the men attacked another man in the lobby of the Executive Inn.”

According to The Orlando Sentinel, the young victim was shot outside the “Pointe Vista Apartments,” shortly before 4:00 p.m. He was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with injuries. His current condition has not been released.

WFTV 9 reports, the complex has been “certified as part of the Crime-Free Multi-Housing Property Program.” However, one resident apparently told WFTV the designation “wasn’t enough to make him feel safe” given the “amount of violent crime in the area.”

Police are apparently still searching for a suspect.
